Archie Simmons | GOALKEEPER

SPONSORED BY B&B ESTATES

The young goalkeeper, who’s currently on loan from Ramsgate, has really been making waves with his fantastic shot-stopping skills.

He’s managed to rack up an impressive number of clean sheets this season, showcasing just how talented he is.

Archie has a bright future ahead and it’s exciting to see what’s next for him.

Alfie Bates | DEFENDER

SPONSORED BY BJC ELECTRICAL

Alfie was last season's top scorer,  playing as a forward either on the wing or as a 9.

This season, he was asked to do a job at right back when we lost Joe and Jamie earlier in the season. Since then he has made the position his own.

Solid, big tackler and calm on the ball.

Dan TidNaM | DEFENDER

Another exciting addition to our team from Bexley! Dan is a strong, no-nonsense defender who really knows how to lead on the pitch.

We're thrilled to have him join us and can’t wait to see him in action after he has recovered from an unfortunate shoulder injury.

Dylan Ruler | DEFENDER

Dlyan has had to be very patient this season. He came in and put a Man of the Match display in his first start for the club, away to Halls AFC.

He has a lovely left foot and a throw to rival Rory Delap!

Harrison Avery | DEFENDER

Harrison played with Ian and George last season at K Sports. He is a strong defender that can also operate upfront.

H is a big character in the dressing room and a reliable player.

Jez Hammond | DEFENDER & CLUB CAPTAIN

SPONSORED BY CARE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Jez signed from Bexley and is a player Ian and George know and trust.

A towering defender that loves to head the ball, away from goal and towards it. He is a massive threat from set pieces and is the club captain. Jez keeps the lads in line on and off the field with his firm but fair fine process.

Qenan Lua Lua | DEFENDER

SPONSORED BY SHAUN VARDY

Qenan joined us from Sheppey United’s under 23s.  His contributions were vital to our formidable back four, which achieved an impressive streak of three clean sheets in succession.

He is an exciting attacking full back with a bright future ahead of him.

Callum RollingS | DEFENDER

Callum is a left footed box-to-box midfielder. He was Ian and George’s Player of the Season at K Sports three seasons ago.

Callum joins Sheppey Sports from Ashford United and Ian and George look forward to working with him again.

George Batten | MidfieldER

SPONSORED BY JUDE BATTEN

George, our player manager, sits in front of the back four. He has bundles of experience, having played over 100 games for Sheppey United.

He will break up play and start off moves going forward. George is a key part of a very strong midfield for the Sports.

Jack Marsh | MidfieldER

SPONSORED BY APPLEYARD FC

Jack has come through the ranks at Sheppey United. He is a player with untold amounts of potential and is on dual reg with United.

His natural position is a 9 but can play anywhere, including in goal which he had to do earlier this season.

Joe Skinner | MidfieldER

SPONSORED BY KATE NEWMAN

Joe was Ian Batten's Player of the Season last year. He is a player that has everything, strength, pace and can score goals.

He has had to fill in between the sticks twice in two seasons and has kept two clean sheets!

Joel Wakefield | MidfieldER

Joel was Bearsted's player of the season last season and was a huge signing for the Sports and also on dual reg with Sheppey United.

He is a midfielder with a great eye for goal and has scored some big goals for the Sports. Joel is a leader who leaves nothing on the pitch, has real quality.

Jordan Tingley | MidfieldER

SPONSORED BY JLB BUILDING SERVICES

Jordan signed from Bearsted and is a strong, pacy winger who can also fill in at full back.

One of the best in the league, who loves to run with the ball and is a constant menace to our opponents.

KEVIN DANCE | MidfieldER

Kevin joined the Sports from Croydon part way through the season. He is a talented midfielder who is tidy on the ball, meaning he's often wiggling his way out of tight spaces.

Kevin scored a worldie on his debut, in the 1-1 draw with SE Dons at Holm Park.

Beau Cook-Bartholomew | FORWARD

Beau is a speedy left-footed player, with a flair for dazzling footwork and a knack for outpacing defenders. He's always on the lookout to take a shot or set up a teammate for a goal.

This season has already seen him shine brightly, racking up some crucial goals and assists that have made a real difference on the pitch.

We can't wait to see more of his magic in action.

Corey Spencer | FORWARD

SPONSORED BY CREDITSAFE

Corey joined us from Bexley. He usually takes on the number 9 role but is just as at home in centre half.

He’s one of those players who just doesn’t let the opposition breathe, no matter where he’s positioned on the pitch. With his strength and pace, he’s always a real threat.

David Ajao | FORWARD

David is a powerful, fast player that can either play down the middle or on either wing. On his day, he is without doubt one of the most feared players in the league.

He enjoys running at players, with his pace and power making him a nightmare for defenders.

David Latunde | FORWARD

SPONSORED BY TMC HEATING

David averages a goal every 2 games but bad luck with injuries have impacted his appearances this season.

Quick with the ball at his feet and a cool and calm finisher, he will be a big boost to the Sports when he comes back from injury.

Fred Obasa | FORWARD

Fred is an experienced centre forward that can play either side of the 9. He will give you everything, week in week out, and has the quality to open teams up with his pace and goals.

George Acland | FORWARD

SPONSORED BY HAYDEN YA FC DEVILS

George is an out and out number 9 and has gained promotion from SCEFL 1 multiple times.

He is one of the best finisher in the league, holds the ball up and is electric when the ball comes to him in the box.

Dylan Akue | FORWARD

Nicknamed the 'Magic Man', Dylan was George Batten's player of the season last year after joining halfway through the season.

One of the best naturally gifted footballers seen at this level, he would beat players like they weren’t there. Every time Dylan stepped on the pitch he would light it up.

Dylan tragically passed away in 2024, aged just 21, from a cardiac arrest. We have retired the number 21 shirt in his memory and he will always be in our thoughts.
